We did it! 10,000 Students reached in 10 days.
March 2026:
As we sit at the finish line of this year’s tour, looking out over the coast with the crew, there’s a mix of emotions rolling through… grateful, proud, humbled being a few of them. The people we’ve met along the way, the korero shared, 10,000+ rangatahi connected with across 10 school days, the places we’ve travelled through, the early starts, long days and everything in between… all of it building to this moment where we get to sit back and take it in.
And beyond the road, the ripple’s been real. Over 1.3 million people reached online and still climbing. Wild.
Te tangata te tangata te tangata - it is the people, it is the people, it is the people.
A massive thank you to everyone who’s backed this tour, followed along, shared a post, had a conversation or shown up in any way. It means more than you know and it fuels the team to keep pushing forward.
2026’s Fundraising apparel design featured imagery of last year’s north island future generations tour, with the harley davidson motorcycles and ute behind filming them, the fleet that travels to make the tour happen and documenting it all.
It also represents friendship and young people coming together to do things they enjoy.

Over $3,000 Was raised for Spark That Chat from apparel sales alone during march.
It goes straight into planning for next year’s tour, always with the aim to reach even more people as possible to inspire mental health wellbeing amongst our young people in new zealand.
Changing the future of youth mental health in Aotearoa.
one conversation, one school, one story at a time.
The Future Generations pillar is Spark That Chat’s commitment to supporting young people where it matters most: in schools and communities, face-to-face. It focuses on real conversations, lived experience, and measurable impact.
Led by Spark That Chat founder Jack Jensen, the initiative includes nationwide tours, school talks, digital storytelling, and community events. These activities are designed to help rangatahi feel more comfortable talking about mental health, working to maintain a good headspace, asking for help, and supporting one another to be resilient when life throws a curveball.
This work is not about presenting statistics from a stage. It’s about creating environments where young people feel seen, understood, and connected.

THE
FUTURE
GENERATIONS
TOUR
Every year, during the month of march, the Spark That Chat crew (including our top-tier production team of legends) hits the road to visit as many schools, colleges, and university campuses as possible across Aotearoa.
Jack shares his own journey openly and honestly - the highs, the lows, the struggles, the lessons - while encouraging students to embrace vulnerability, connection, movement, purpose, and community.
Alongside the school talks, the team also connects with inspiring local legends, athletes, creators, tradies, business owners, and everyday Kiwis to film powerful interviews around mental wellbeing, resilience, and life experience to be shared on the spark that chat social channels to reach further ears.
Jack is a renown person of influence in NZ via his action sports content, so his presence in schools has students paying attention, Because sometimes the most powerful thing a young person can hear is: “Me too” from someone they look up to.
DIGITAL IMPACT THAT
REACHES MILLIONS
Not every young person can attend a school talk in person, which is why documenting the journey is a huge part of the mission.
Throughout the tour, the Spark That Chat media crew captures:
Daily video content
Interviews and documentaries
Behind-the-scenes moments
School highlights
Community stories
Sponsor collaborations
This content is shared daily across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, helping the message reach far beyond the classrooms we physically visit. In 2026, Tour content reached over 1,789,952 people across social media globally.
The result is Millions of people hearing our message. Thousands of chats sparked. Real impact both online and offline.
PARTNERING WITH FUTURE GENERATIONS
The Future Generations pillar exists because of businesses, organisations, and people who genuinely care about the future of young Kiwis.
Supporting this initiative isn’t just sponsorship, it’s becoming part of a movement focused on creating long-term change for youth mental wellbeing in Aotearoa.
Our partners receive:
Meaningful brand exposure across nationwide campaigns
Social media integration and sponsor content
Access to highly engaged youth and community audiences
Opportunities to feature in campaign storytelling and videos
Alignment with a trusted and rapidly growing mental health movement
Most importantly, partners help make these conversations happen where they’re needed most.
WHY IT MATTERS
Young people today are navigating more pressure, comparison, anxiety, and isolation than ever before.
At Spark That Chat, we believe mental health support needs to go beyond crisis response. We believe in prevention, empowerment, and helping young people build the tools, confidence, and support networks they need before life gets heavy.
The Future Generations pillar promotes:
Open and honest conversations around mental health
Social connection and community
Healthy lifestyles and movement
Time outdoors and real-world experiences
Positive role models and mentorship
Resilience, confidence, and self-belief
The ripple effect of these conversations is massive. One school talk can spark hundreds of conversations. One story can shift someone’s perspective entirely.
